Like Having a Baby

I wrote to Erica and Jocelyn the other night about when we need to meet to start working out details because Ellie and I were putting together a calendar/timeline of each things that needs to be accomplished and trying to pin-point when we need to have them done.

It's all of a sudden 9 months away and all the prep we've done in the last year doesn't seem like enough even though I know we're way ahead of couples getting married at the same time! That list we put together was more than a page long, and didn't even detail out the specifics of each DIY project we have. Yes, I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by the idea that this is really happening. I think MY best course of action is to put the calendar pages from our planning binder into sheet protectors and hang them up somewhere I'll look at them all the time. Some of you may be surprised (Ellie won't be) that I'm not exactly the best at sticking with ToDo lists because I'm a terrible procrastinator. Erica put it pretty well in an email: I'm in the mid-planning lull. and when I'm in a lull, it's really easy to sink into inaction and then have to scramble at the last minute.

I need some accountability; more than just crossing items off a list. any ideas?
